Careers Programme

Careers education and guidance programmes make a major contribution to preparing young people for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life. A planned progressive programme of activities supports our pupils to choose pathways that match their personal qualities, interests and goals.

This year we have partnered with a range of local and national employers to enrich young people’s experience of employability skills, career aspirations and future opportunities, including new partnerships, such as;

- The Royal Air Force
- The National Health Service
- Trinity College, University of Cambridge
- Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge
- University of East Anglia
- BAE Systems
- Lotus Cars
- EDF Energy

Our teaching staff think carefully about how to support students to understand the application of learning by contextualising teaching points within careers, future opportunities and the world of work.

Careers education is provided as a comprehensive programme. Additional guidance is delivered during appropriate times throughout the academic year. A qualified Level 6 Careers Advisor is on-site a minimum of one day of every week.

We welcome enquiries from parents and carers, representatives of local industry and educational providers. Please use the link below to email the Careers Lead.
